🧼 What is Cold Process Soap?
Cold Process Soap offers a gentle, customizable, and versatile approach to soap-making without the need for external heat. It involves mixing sodium hydroxide (lye) with water and oils to initiate saponification. The mixture is then poured into a mold where it sits for 48 hours before being cut into soap bars. It is left to cure for 4-6 weeks, allowing the saponification process to complete and the oils to fully break down. Cold process soap retains the natural glycerin, ensuring a moisturizing, gentle cleansing experience.
🌸 How to Use: Lather the soap and let the soothing blend of rose geranium and lavender envelop your skin. Rinse thoroughly, pat dry, and enjoy the calming, fragrant effects. ✨🚿
Care and Use instructions:
Store the soap in a dry place on a draining soap dish. Avoid letting the soap sit in a bowl-shaped dish or container that allows water to pool. To extend the soap’s longevity, avoid rubbing the bar directly on the body. Instead, use hands, washcloths, or other bathing tools to apply.
